 re cytoplasmic condensates composed proteins involved in post-transcriptio
 nal regulation and RNAs. Nevertheless\, it has been difficult to assign th
 em an essential role in specific post-transcriptional pathways. In our gr
 oup\, we tackle this question by investigating the content of P-bodies an
 d its changes in dynamic processes such as cell cycle progression. We als
 o try to learn from a syndromic form of neurodevelopmental disease associ
 ated with P-body defects\, caused by mutations in an essential P-body comp
 onent\, the DDX6 helicase. Our results indicate that P-bodies have all fea
 tures for contributing to the regulation of gene expression and that this
